Expanded PTFE/Teflon joint sealant (PTFE tape/belt) is a multi-purpose gasket tape
made from 100％ expanded PTFE fluorocarbon material and serviced as a kind of continuous
low density seal material with a self-adhesive backing strip for easyapplication. It is white, soft and spongy, making it easily to conform to the irregular
surfaces. Plus its main characteristics of excellent flexibility, good resilience,
it also resists high-low temperature, chemical corrosion (except moltenalkali metals and elemental fluorine.) and aging, and can be lubricated by itself.
PTFE joint tape is used as a joint tape on steel surface, PVC and fiberglass pipe
