It is a universal packing used in pumps in almost all types of industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals , sewage treatment, and paper etc, for hot water applications it can resist temperature up to 160'c without cooling. In view of high stability fibers recommend a surface hardness of 40-60HRC for shafts and protective sleeves in order to prevent contact surface wear.
