Description:
CHARACTERISTIC: A white or slightly yellowish powder, is liable to be soluble in water, is an ester of alginic acid in which some of the carboxyl groups are esterified with propylene glycol, some neutralized with an appropriate alkali and some remain free. Sine there are hydrophilic and organophilic groups in its molecular structure, so it acts the as a thickener, stabilizer, emulsification, expansibility, acid resistivity in milk products, ice cream, lactic acid drink, fruit juice, beer, snack food, candy as well as salad dressing. Its application effect is incomparable with other additives, especially in acidic drinks.
