Description:
The inner ring and outer ring of this type of ball bearing have a deep groove raceway which can be used to carry radial loads and part of the axial load. It can even be used to carry extremely heavy axial loads after increasing the radial clearance and can therefore take the place of high speed angular contact ball bearings. Only those bearings with a notch cannot be used to carry axial loads.
