The sheet is made from expanded flexible graphite, reinforced by a smooth stainless steel-carrier of 1.4301 (304) or 1.4401 (316), Nickel, 0.05mm thick, graphite content more than 98％, graphite bulk density 1.0g/cm3.

It is permanently elastic, even in hot-cold cycles over the entire temperature range, no aging, no brittleness, no hot or cold flow, long time uniform compressibility and resiliency independent of temperature.
