laminate manufactured from thermosetting polyester resin, fiberglass filament winding, fiberglass chopped roving, and finely graded pure silica sand. the pipe consists of a resin-rich reinforced liner, structural walls, a stiffness core and a resin rich exterior layer. chemical resistant "c" glass mat or veil is used in all surface reinforcements.
