Technical sheet Sodium Metabisulphite Identity ：its molecular formula is Na2S2O5 and its weight is 190.12 Physical character: White or light yellow powder, relative condense 1.4 in moist. It dissolves in water and glycerine and little in ethanol. Decomposed in humid, oxygenized into sodium sulfate by exposed in air, sulpher dioxide will be released when it contacts with strong acid and then created the relative salt, resolved by heated at 150℃. Application : - Medicine industry: Used for manufacturing trichloromethane, sulphetrone and benzaldohyde. - Rubber industry: Used as coagulative agent. - Dye-industry: Used as dechlorination agent and cotton boiling-off agent for bleached cotton. Leather industry: It can make leather soft, well-developed, tough water proof, wear-ability and etc. - Chemical industry: Used for manufacturing hydrochloride hydroxylamine and etc. - Light-sensitive industry: Used as developer and others.
