TAIS provides the following fabric inspection and audit services:

Factory Evaluation
During-production inspection (In-line inspection)
Pre-shipment inspection (Final random inspection)

Inspection standard:
> Sampling method: MIL-STD-105E or according to the applicant's requirement.
> Visual Inspection: ASTM D5430 4-point system.

Inspection criteria:
> Available quantities
> Quality
> Color shades
> Cuttable width
> Length and/or Weight
> Visual defects
> Packing and Shipping mark

Defects treatment:
> All inspected defects would be written on the Inspection Record Sheet on the spot.
> All representative defects and key points would be photoed by digital camera and sent to the applicant by email as attachment.
> For representative defects on the fabric, the inspector would take a sample possibly for keeping. The defect samples could also be sent to the applicant by collect on request.
> All serious problems or other special points would be written as Special Attention attached the Inspection Record Sheet.

Report:
> The formal FABRIC INSPECTION REPORT attached with digital pictures would be issued to the applicant on next working day after the end of inspection.
> The information of critical defects or serious defects would be sent to the applicant by fax or email as soon as possible, maybe before the formal report issued.
