Agar-agar has the following usage: MEDICINE field: it is used as a culture media in plant tissue culture, in pathogenic
and non-pathogenic bacteria and fungi; it is also used in the preparation of
dental casts and the production of hollow medicine capsules.
FOOD field: it has been used as a high performance gelling, texturizing, emulsifying,
stabilizing, and thickening agents in ice cream, jelly, gummy candy, pork luncheon
