Description:
The Tomos 8-channel pipette is easily operable in a wide variety of applications. Its manifold can be freely rotated against the handle to work in a relaxed position, yet always at an optimum angle towards the microtiter plate. The special nose cone geometry permits the use of most common pipette tips, and provides a firm, parallel fit. The pipette's ergonomic design makes effortless tip ejection much easier. The entire pipette is autoclavable at 121 deg C. It simplifies all work with microtiter plates. For example, it is ideal for using with microtiter plates when a single channel pipette is too tedious and an automated system is impractical. It simplifies the serial dilutions of samples and standards in, and allows convenient washing of, microtiter plates. It is not recommended for pipetting liquids of high vapour pressure or high viscosity, or liquids which attack polypropylene.
