Description:

Pu Erh tea takes its name from an important town in southern Yunan Province,
which actually doesn't grown tea but it was the trading centre of Pu Erh tea
prefecture.

There were two main classification of Pu Erh tea: Green Pu Erh (Sheng Cha)
and Cooked Pu Erh ( Shou Cha). The Green Pu Erh processing is differs from
other green teas. The firing of the fresh leaves is to arrest enzyme activity,
which is complete with regular green tea, is only partial with Green Pu Erh.
This allows Pu Erh, in the presence of humidity, to further oxidize slowly over
time.

Cooked Pu Erh differs from Green Pu Erh due to its initial oxidation. Using water
and heat to speed oxidation makes Cooked Pu Erh quicker than Green Pu Erh in oxidation.

Royal Pu Erh was long as an annual 'Tribute' tea to the imperial court of China.
The tea has a high concentration of golden buds. Its lower cholesterol and triglycerides, also its superior flavor and smooth mellow taste makes this tea a
favorite of both Pu Erh drinkers and beginners.
